Happy 4th of July!

Summer fun

Summer has been exciting, busy and very fun this year so far! The kids love the beach and wish we could go every day. The girls have had swim lessons which they learned so much in. We've enjoyed riding bikes, playing in the pool, and playing with our neighbor friends. here's to a great rest of the summer. Can't believe it's already July!

Lily finished Kindergarten!!

We officially have a 1st grader in our house!! So excited to enjoy the summer first though!

Last day!

Garrett turned 2!!

Playing a little catch up on the blog today. Yes, Garrett turned 2 back in May but I never got around to posting about it. He had an Elmo bday party with a bunch of the neighbors friends. We are so lucky we have neighbors that we can call family when the rest of our "real" family can't be here. Grandpa and Grandma Small were out to celebrate both Garrett and Grant's bdays and were so happy they could be here!

Easter 2015

Not sure if anyone still looks at this, but thought I'd post something just so I can remember it in the future. We had a wonderful Easter although there was still snow on the ground. We celebrated a few weeks later with a neighborhood easter egg hunt, so much fun. We love our awesome neighbors! Can not believe Garrett will be 2 this month. Time is flying!!

Frozen Party

We had a joint bday party for the girls today with all their neighbor friends. They had a great time! Here's a few pics. I made the cake, but the pictures don't do it justice…I have to say it looked really cool, pretty proud of myself. ;) Grant helped and made the sugar candy to go on the top as ice.

Alaina is 4!

We celebrated Alaina's 4th birthday in Iowa with family last weekend and then this weekend with just the 5 of us. Per Alaina's request we got dunkin donuts for breakfast and then had mac and cheese for lunch and ice cream afterwards. What a lucky girl we have. She received so many wonderful gifts and the look on her face says it all. She was SO happy with everything she got and super excited.

 Alaina woke up on her birthday to her new fish! Super excited and she named it Anna. :)
