 We had an Easter Egg hunt outside in 40 degree weather. It was a bit chilly, but the girls had fun finding all the eggs...and eating what was inside.

 "Wow, lots of Eggs" Which one do I get first, but I have to leave 1 for Alaina.

Easter Cookies and Eggs

We made some sugar Easter cookies and of course the girls had a blast helping with the dough and then with the frosting/decorating. 

 Now this is how to eat a sugar cookie....

 Dying Eggs...Alaina was much more interested in dropping and taking out the eggs that actually letting them get any color on them.

18 month Stats for Alaina

We had Alaina's 18 month check up last Friday and of course everything is perfect! :) The Dr. was impressed that she could jump (and get some air), evidently that is a 2 y/o skill. Her gross motor skills are quite good. I told the Dr. it's b/c she has to run pretty fast when she's being chased by her older sister if she steals her toy. :) She's doing pretty well on the talking too. She imitates most words we say and it very fluent with the words, No, Mine, All Done, Up, and Snack. She knows her animal noises and loves to show everyone all her body parts. We had to keep up with her cousin Leah so we taught her elbow so she could show the Dr that one. The MD laughed and asked her if she knew where her clavicle was? ;) She got 2 shots which she was not happy about. The whole ride home she kept saying owie and pointing at her leg. Poor girl.

Weight 23 lbs 8 oz (30%)

Height 31.5 inches (40%)

Head circumference 47cm (I think)

So she is average for height and weight and the Dr even said "perfect." We'll take it!
