Mmmmm...Sweet Potatoes!

We tried sweet potatoes tonight and Lillian loved them! We also got a new high chair which I also think she loved because now she can sit at the table like a big girl. Enjoy!

Golf Pants

I am now ready to go golfing with Daddy. I have my pants, now if he only had a pair to match. Daddy can't wait until it gets warmer out. He's trying to figure out a way to strap the carseat in the golf cart. :) Hope its warm for everone else this weekend.

First Bite of Cereal

We tried rice cereal for the first time tonight. I'm not sure Lillian knew what to think of it. She didn't seem to mind it, but she didn't seem too thrilled about it either. She would rather chew on the bib made by Grandma Small.

Making a new friend

On Saturday Lillian made a new friend Aaron. They had a great time playing together. Hopefully we will get to play with Aaron again real soon. Aaron just moved into a new house so we had lots of room to move around.

Kissing Aaron goodbye.

Mom, she just kissed me. Will you wipe it off please?

4 months

4 Months Old

Happy 4 month bday Lillian!!!

We had a drs appt today and Lillian is doing wonderfully. We can start giving her cereal or other baby food now. The Dr. told us we just need to have fun with it. Guess we should go buy a high chair...anybody have a nice one they would recommend? The shots didn't go too bad today, she screamed, but only for a few seconds.

Here's her stats:
Weight 15 lbs 4 oz which is 85%
Length 25 inches which is 80% (she grew a lot....Dr thinks it was probably a growth spurt)
Head circumference 41cm which is 60%

She is now wearing 6month clothes and can actually fit into a couple 9mnth outfits now!! :)
Will post a picture when we get one today. She's sleeping on me right now. I figured she needed a little cuddle time.

Survived 1st Week of Daycare.

Well, both Lily and I have survived her first week of daycare. Yes, it was only Tuesday and Thursday but was enough for me. I did have a few tears in my eyes when I had to leave her on Tuesday at 6:30am. I called around 10am to see how she was doing and of course she didn't want to take a bottle. I told them it was ok if she didn't want to eat then and if she got hungry enough she would take it. I decided not to call again during my shift at work b/c I figured I'd hear her screaming in the background. I picked her up at 3:30 and she was a very happy baby. They had taken her on a walk outside in a buggy (very cute, it can fit 6 kids in it) and when she came in she took the whole bottle and took a nap afterward. Today wasn't as bad, no tears from me and Lily again didn't want to take the morning bottle, but did a little later. She slept for 8 hours last night and I had to wake her up before we left to go to daycare to feed her. I think she's just not hungry when they are trying to give her the bottle. Per state law they have to offer her a bottle every 3 hours. The worst part is if she doesn't take it in an hour they throw away my breastmilk. :( Guess I shouldn't complain though because otherwise she has been a very good baby at daycare and seems happy when I go to pick her up. I'm sure it will continue to get easier.

This weekend we will be making our way into Boston for the first time since Lillian was born. Hope it's a nice weather. We'll be going to the Family and Baby Expo. It's a huge event they have every year. Hope it's a fun time.

Lily has now found her feet or actually did a while ago, but I just got a picture of it today. If only we were all this flexible. :)

Happy St Patricks Day!

I just couldn't resist wearing these pants on St Patrick's Day. Hopefully it will bring me the luck of the Irish. I might need it today since it's going to be my first day at Day Care.

Cute and Clean

I like warm weather. It was 60 degrees here today and Daddy got to go to the driving range. He was so excited. No real golf yet, because there is still snow on the ground.

March Madness

I'm so excited to fill out my brackets. I sure hope I can out guess either Mom or Dad. I hear the winner gets a free day all to themselves without any babysitting duty. That would be nice because I'm sure tired of watching after these two.

I think I'll cheer for my favorite Iowa team in the tournament. Go UNI!

Beatle

Here's a video of Lillian amazed by Beetle (as we call him). Actually he's an ISU dinosaur from Gpa & Gma. Can you guess which gpa and gma?? :)

A day with Dad

Mom's back to work for 8 hours for the first time today. So it was just fun and games with Dad. However, he did finally find someone that could beat me in a staring contest.

Just couldn't resist putting a picture in this onesie on the blog!

Home Alone

It was great to see everyone, but I'm glad to relax here at home with Mom and Dad watching it snow. Like my MJ impersonation?

It's sooo quite here I can't help myself, but sleep.

OK, I'm bored now. How much longer is it going to be just the three of us. I better go hide so they can't find me.
