Cake

So I made my first cake last night at my class. I don't think it came out too bad. Yes, it is all made with the star tip, but my arm hurt afterwards because it took so long. :) And I can't post without a pic of Lily so here's a couple of those too. Her favorite thing to do...play with socks!

10 Months Old and Moving!

10 Months Old today and walking...for the most part. So what is new...She can walk halfway across the room or until she finds something to hold too if she wants. She can stand up from a sitting position without pulling up on anything. She loves climbing stairs when we let her. Her favorite toys are socks and carries them everywhere. She is really enjoying her new classroom at daycare. They usually go outside at least once a day and have so many "older kid" toys to play with. She loves to feed herself and would much prefer that than to be spoon fed. Favorite new word is Duck (all her toys are called ducks). She does say Da Da now too. She can nod her head the correct way if you ask her to say yes and no and if we tell her to get her "baby" she goes and gets her baby doll. (That still amazes me). Lily is definitely getting her own personality and she is changing so much every day.

We are also in the process of picking out EVERYTHING for our new house. Just built, so we get to make the choices of what goes in it. Sorry if we haven't had lots of posts, but that seems like all we do. I never knew there were so many options and so many things to pick out for a house. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Enjoy the videos. We try to get one of her walking farther, but with no luck. Don't worry....we'll keep trying.

Movin' on Up...

to Infant Room II at daycare. Starting next week Lily will be in the next classroom at daycare. This week the center is closed for staff education which means this week I am a stay at home mom and don't have to work. These pics were taken of Lillian's last day in Infant Room I last week. Hoping she will do well moving onto bigger toys and getting to go outside more often. (These are some of the new changes with the new room).

I love to eat and swim!

As you can see Lily loves swimming....she's figured out how to kick her feet and move herself in her baby float. She also loves eating, almost anything.
